The Soho ramen institution is always busy for good reason. It’s superb. It’s also a tight squeeze and not so great for kids, although highchairs are available, it’s tricky with a buggy. It’s very affordable though so use the cash you’ve saved to hire a babysitter and make this a date night. The dining area is minimalist, the service is excellent and it’s all a bit sexy. This is one of my favourites.
What’s good? The Ramen (beats Nanban and Kanada-Ya hands down for my money), the tenderstem broccoli and the cocktails are all mighty fine.
Kid friendly? Not quite but worth going without ’em unless you can wrangle the prized outdoor seating or the tables right up front.
