My husband and I went to The Hyndland Fox for breakfast after our first baby free night since our child’s birth, hungover AF. It’s a sort of shabby chic, cosy, friendly local joint. I unfortunately tried to order a Bloody Mary at 10am and they’re not licensed before 11am, so sleep in if you want a brunch cocktail.
If you miss brunch, the Fox is open until midnight most of the week and 1am Friday and Saturdays. This is a long established venue with strong community links and regular events, they made us feel very at home when we were a bit fragile.
What’s good? All the breakfast options are serviceable and their hot drinks all come with a piece of tablet.
Kid friendly? Totally, I might not have reviewed it except I was so impressed with their set up for kids.
