This is not a good place to take anyone under the age of 12. I visited Gazelle on an unexpected afternoon off alone. I’m so infrequently alone now and it was absolutely wonderful but it’s tranquil, sumptuous dining room filled with gold velvet cushions over looking Albermarle street in Mayfair would be a very tight squeeze with a buggy and it’s just too quiet to bring little people without feeling conspicuous. There’s a lift so technically it’s accessible but no other amenities like highchairs or baby change are available here. That’s not what Gazelle is for. Gazelle is for impressing someone.
It’s beautiful here and the dishes are small and elegant and interesting. The service is exceptional. It would be an ideal spot for an important business lunch or a perfect place to start an affair if you’re in the market for that kind of thing.
What’s good? The beef with salt plum. The bee pollen, grape and yoghurt. The tranquility.
Kid friendly? Lol no.
