Plot Tooting

Plot is based in Tooting market, within a market row with mostly counter seating but also a few tables. On paper it’s not the most baby friendly option but you can absolutely squeeze a buggy or two in for lunch here.

Masters of pickling and preserving – the charcuterie here is top notch but honestly, so is everything they’re plating up. We took Max during the heatwave whilst he was slightly poorly in a series of rookie errors and lived to tell the tale. The bustle of the market really muffles a screaming child and their caramel ice cream pleased Max no end when he wasn’t screaming.

Note, this restaurant, due to its location is not ideal if it’s 30 degrees outside. All the cooking from the range of food traders makes it super hot.

What’s good? All the pickled stuff, the salmon, the banana bread.

Kid friendly? Not on paper but we coped.
