Bombay Bustle has been designed to replicate the dining carriage of a Mumbai train. It is honestly adorable. And the staff are maybe the friendliest I’ve met since writing this blog.
Full disclosure, I ate here alone, but I had a big chat with the front of house about bringing babies and they were down with it. There’s enough space for a few buggies at certain tables, they’ve got highchairs and baby change, there was also another table with children with them on the day I ate there. But most importantly this place is cute and it’s staff are cute and if you’re looking for an alternative to somewhere like Dishoom then this is a good bet.
The majority of the menu is meant to be shared and it’s a little pricey but it’s Mayfair so that’s kind of expected, however, their set lunch deal served in a tiffin box is a steal at £20.
What’s good? The tiffin box set lunch.
Kid friendly? Yes ma’am.
