I don’t know what took us so long to get to Santo Remedio. It’s literally been on my list for about 2 years. Sort of kicking myself tbh because if I’d known how great it was I would definitely have been along earlier. I’m 16 weeks pregnant right now and honestly at this point I’d like you to just pump avocado right into my veins. That’s how bad I want to eat avocado at every meal so realistically our visit couldn’t have come at a better time. I gave Max the corn chips and just ate the whole bowl of guacamole with a spoon.
We sat outside on our visit for several reasons. Firstly, it was just me and Max and I’m somewhat out of practice. I almost always have my mum or my husband along for the meal when I go out. I work more now than when I started the blog and we’ve got less one on one time. Secondly, Max is obsessed with cars and sitting next to the road is free entertainment for the whole meal. If you’re venturing inside, space is a little tight and there’s a step to get in but all still manageable even on your own with a buggy.
Santo doesn’t have a kids menu but it’s completely possible to make do with corn chips and a quesadilla and churros. Trust me. Especially the churros. I took a gamble and it turns out they’ve got high chairs too. The staff were absolutely lovely with Max and we had a brilliant meal.
What’s good? The pork belly tacos, the guac, the lamb chops, the fish tacos, the churros. Omg the churros.
Kid friendly? Si senôr.
