The Delauney Aldwych

You’ve heard my take on Brassiere Zedel which is owned by the same guys. The Delauney is like Brasserie Zedel’s more sophisticated Aunt who has been widowed several times under suspicious circumstances. It’s the kind of place that makes me think of continental Europe in a Hitchcock film. And it does the best Eggs Benedict in all of London, no hyperbole.

What’s good? The atmosphere and the eggs benny pictured above.

Kid friendly? Yup, similar policy and space as at Zedel.

✔️ highchairs available
✔️ cool with breastfeeding
✖️ loads of other parents
✔️ space for buggies
✖️ There’s nothing official but there’s lots that would work, plus wonderful cakes and ice creams as a reward for behaving so well in the nice restaurant
✖️ toys/play area
