Frenchie Covent Garden

Frenchie is pretty slick operation. I remember feeling slightly nervous to enter as it has the air of a place that’s a bit too posh for me. They serve what I like to think of as very high end comfort food in an airy and bright dining room.

What’s good? The bacon scones with maple syrup and clotted cream pictured above. I saw these on instagram last year and went specifically to eat them. They did not disappoint.

Kid friendly? Ish. The restaurant are very accommodating but there’s not much room for buggies and the menu is too sophisticated for little people’s palates. Except for those bacon scones. Jesus. They’re so good.
