I’ve got a bit of a thing for cheeseburger meat. Like I get sort of unusually excited when I hear ‘cheeseburger dumpling’. And maybe it’s a bit gimmicky but I’m not disinterested in a burger with macaroni cheese on it. I spend a lot of time reviewing more fine dining options but sometimes I just want to go to Dirty Bones.
It’s fun and cute and quirky and they’re playing Kendrick Lamar. They’ve got pinball machines for tables and the staff seem to all be friendly undergraduates from Kings College London. Very smiley.
They have highchairs that clip to the tables and babychange in the Kingly Court complex. There’s a lift to get up to the restaurant. It’s a bit of tight squeeze for buggies but you shouldn’t have a problem on a weekday lunch service. Max enjoyed the decor and the macaroni a great deal.
What’s good? Cheeseburger dumplings. Next time I go I’m just ordering 4 portions of that. The lamb fries. The ease of the place.
Kid friendly? Unexpectedly so.
