Byron have recently relaunched their cult favourite special – the B Rex burger – we’re talking a hamburger patty topped with an onion ring, crispy smoked bacon and American cheese, Jalapeños, pickles, onion, BBQ sauce and a little mayonnaise. Ooft. So to celebrate this behemoth they had a little party and gave away a bunch of burgers for free. But we couldn’t make it so they very kindly invited us for lunch instead.
We had a really lovely meal at the first ever Byron despite the fact that Max was in a total grump and kept saying he was done with the dinosaur toys I’d brought for him to play with before the meal arrived. Then the lovely staff brought over a chocolate milkshake and all was very quickly forgiven. There’s plenty of space for buggies, a bunch of highchairs and happily accommodating staff at this lovely branch of Byron. It’s also right next to the Design museum and the Kyoto gardens making it a perfect lunch for a family day out.
What’s good? The halloumi fries. The B-Rex. How easy it is to go there with kids.
Kid friendly? Absolutely – they’ve got special kids menus to draw on and everything.
