This is an historic day. My first review as an official Glasgow resident. Things are chaos right now but it’s important to keep up with the things that you love, like this blog so the day we arrived we headed to renowned pancake spot Stack & Still. Max is having some trouble adjusting to the move, his routine is a mess and he keeps asking to go home and having serious meltdowns. One of which happened while we were eating pancakes and no one batted an eye.
It’s a really spacious dining area with plenty of high chairs and staff who are good with kids in addition to simply being friendly and helpful. Crayons and colouring made their way to our table before we could even ask. Several other tables with small children and the icing on the cake – kids eat free if you order more than one pancake.
Stack and Still sort of reminds me of the Breakfast Club. The range of both savoury and sweet options is pretty vast and is solid quality. The portions are also massive. It’s a very easy place to take kids, with everything you need including a play area further down in the mall for afterwards.
What’s good? We loved the steak stack and will be back for a monster shake soon.
Kid friendly? The friendliest.
